U2, Bon Jovi, Elton John, Lady Gaga and Paul MacCartney kick them off by hitting the list of top-earning performances. Check your favorite artists where do they fall:
1. U2 ($195 million)
That mesmerizing, ageless looks produces a
worth of $700 million tickets over two years and performed to approximately 7
million people.
2. Bon Jovi ($125 million)
That unbreakable energy has grossed $200 million
performing 74 shows from the previous 12 months. The vocalist himself was
recognized for Community Solutions in the White House by President Obama.
3. Elton John ($100 million)
This man in a cool shade has sold 250 million records
worldwide over the past 30 years and grossed $204 million on 102 live shows in
the past 12 months.
4. Lady Gaga ($90 million)
With her eyes that peeps the opportunity of
success has grossed $170 million on 137 shows in 22 countries over the past 12
months. She scrapes more revenue for heavy radio play, recorded music sales and
endorsement deals from Polaroid, Virgin Mobile, Monster Cable, Viva Glam to
name a few.
5. Paul McCartney ($67 million)
He is recognized as the most commercially
successful songwriter in the history of popular music by Guinness World Records.
He grossed $130 million on 30 shows over
the past 12 months.
6. The Black Eyed Peas ($61 million)
This group whose band composition is completed by my countryman, a
Filipino, Allan Pineda Lindo, grossed $68 million on 62 shows globally over the past 12 months and take
home more revenues through rewarding endorsement contracts with Samsung, Pepsi,
Honda, Verizon, Chase to name a few.
